I wish that Marvel would make MCU Bruce Banner actually self-aware of the fact that he has a mental illness, and not just a condition where he turns into a green monster. Even just a casual line where he mentions that something is probably “off” with him from a mental standpoint, as a person, and which caused his psyche to splinter off and create the Hulk’s own psyche, would be amazing. If they do something where he starts looking for ways to better cope with, and understand why his duality exists, that would be even better. But this is Marvel. I’m wholly convinced that all they’ll do for the next few movies is, “Hulk did this, Bruce did that”, and never even acknowledge his DID, by name or otherwise, or offer development based on that essential part of his character. All Marvel will acknowledge, at best, is whether or not Bruce likes the Hulk, and how the Hulk affects everyone else. He won’t actually try to understand why the Hulk exists in the first place. The only time that Marvel explored an MCU character’s mental illness was in IM3, with Tony Stark, and unfortunately, Tony is a bit of a golden child for Marvel whereas Bruce is way less so, so I can’t ever fathom them doing something like that for him.
